Drum Camp is hosted at our studio in Garland, TX, which is about 30-40 minutes from DFW & Love Field airports. Exact address will be sent out via email once you reserve your spot.

    ARRIVAL DATE:

Since class begins on Thursday morning, we recommend getting situated at your hotel on Wednesday (March 13).

    DEPARTURE DATE:

There are no classes on Sunday, so you may leave whenever you like on that day (March 17).

WHERE DO STUDENTS LODGE WHILE AT CAMP:

We highly recommend booking your hotel stay at the Holiday Inn Express located at 11331 W. Kingsley Rd. Dallas, TX 75238 (phone number is 214-340-0003), which is less than 2 miles (5 minutes) from the Paragon Drums studio.

WHAT AIRPORT IS BEST TO USE WHEN FLYING INTO CAMP:

Either Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) or Love Field Airport (DAL). Both are a similar distance (30-40 minutes) from the Paragon Drums studio.

    RENTAL CAR/TRANSPORTATION BEFORE/DURING/AFTER CAMP:

A rental car purchase is not necessary, unless the student feels that they need/want one. You will need to provide your own transportation to and from the airport (Wednesday and Sunday), to and from the studio each day (Thursday-Saturday), and to lunch sites that are not within walking distance. However, when we decide not to walk to a local restaurant for lunch, we will take our own cars and can assist with transportation for as many students as possible.

    HOW LONG IS EACH CAMP:

Each camp is 3 full days of classes. The camp runs Thursday through Saturday. Students should arrive on Wednesday and depart on Sunday.

WHAT DOES EACH DAY AT CAMP LOOK LIKE:

Each day begins around 10am CST and ends around 6pm, with a lunch break from 12-1:30pm and a 30 minute snack/chill break from 3:30-4pm. Dinner with Clay, Cam, and all students at a local restaurant after the last day of camp on Saturday.

    FOOD DURING CAMP:

For those who opt to stay at the Holiday Inn we recommended, there should be free breakfast provided each morning. For lunches on Thursday and Friday, we will generally do BBQ and Mexican food, which are both within walking distance from the studio. For lunch on Saturday, we will travel about 10-15 minutes to Richardson, where there are a handful of options right next to one another. Each meal is $20-$25, so please plan accordingly. The group will go out to lunches together, but is not mandatory. Dinner together on Saturday is also not mandatory, but is recommended, as it will be the last time together during camp.

HOW MANY STUDENTS WILL BE PRESENT AT EACH CAMP:

The limit is 15 students per camp.

    AGE REQUIREMENT:

    Currently 18+.
